Managerial

  • Responsible for planning for and managing Makino showroom
  • Work with MM applications, service, and sales team to identify all current applications engineering and service needs
  • Responsible for understanding and executing applications and service requirements with new sales orders and with existing customers.
  • Provide pre and post-sales support.
  • Continue to build high level applications & service image in the markets served.
  • Key contact point for all applications and service related issues in the region.
  • Prioritize customer needs to available resources
  • Coach and mentor service and applications engineering team – provide guidance on customer intimacy leading to market differentiation
  • Provide business planning for applications and service organization to allow for current stability and future growth. Will provide leadership in developing capabilities for equipment installations, turnkey and integration.Financial

Technical

  •  Ability to provide applications training to AE personnel on key Makino machining technologies ( SGI, HMC, etc )

  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the building and grounds of the Tech Center

  • Responsible for PPP, hiring, disciplinary actions, salary recommendations and employee development
  • Create and maintain MAP processes to assure efficient and effective operational procedures are documented and followed

  • Develops and maintains contract resources to support peak work periods
