Direct Hire opportunity. Must have Foam and Carpet experience

• Use automotive Floor & Acoustics tooling, product and plant knowledge to provide product engineering and operations/plant engineering support for new product launch, product transfers and engineering changes.

• Product launch support to include plant and line layout, line installation, tooling installation, product trials and line shakedowns and follow up to ensure that product meets customer requirements. Interact with corporate program team to ensure that implementation is as efficient as possible.

• Product transfer duties to include all aspects of product launch support with the addition of planning of bank builds, equipment transfer, tooling transfer and quality implementation of products.

• Effective implementation and/or creation of engineering/quality documentation including PFMEAs, Control plans, and work instructions.

• Providing feedback to plant and corporate product teams to ensure lessons-learned are well documented to take advantage of such for future products.

• Initiation, investigation, and when appropriate, implementation of cost save initiatives.

• Provide accurate product cost estimates with the assistance of appropriate plant/corporate personnel

• Other engineering duties as required.

Responsible for assisting all executives in scheduling, travel arrangements, correspondence, filing, event planning and follow up on deliverables. Representing Management internally and externally.

Position Specifications

Knowledge / Skills:
 Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs and Lotus Notes
 French and German language skills are highly recommended; Spanish is desired
 Knowledge of the videoconference system
 Performance needs to be in accordance with the Faurecia core competencies.
 Strong ability to organize while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability.
 High level of initiative and the capacity to take charge in the absence of detailed instructions.
 Ability to be attentive to all aspects of the environment while working; to monitor environment during routine activity.
 Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with all levels of management and international and local co-workers in written and spoken language.
